Case Consultation and Mentoring
True Voice provides expertise pertaining to investigation and the needs of children, giving Colorado children a voice in the judicial system. Through a newly designed Mentoring Program for investigators and interviewers, as well as a streamlined Case Consultation Program for county and district attorneys, True Voice supports a multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigations and prosecution.
Case Consultation
True Voice senior faculty consultant, Jennifer Martin, is available to assist county and district attorneys with case consultation, trial preparation, and support. Jennifer assists with challenging cases by reviewing taped interviews, securing expert witnesses, and providing research articles to support the case.
Mentoring Program
In response to an increasing demand for onsite, individualized consultation, True Voice offers specialized services to law enforcement, social services, and prosecution professionals. True Voice consultants will coordinate individualized training for newly hired law enforcement detective, social services caseworkers, and child interview specialists. True Voice provides trainees the opportunity to learn and utilize a videotaped interview assessment tool to critique their own interviews.
