About True Voice Consulting
True Voice Consulting, LLC was founded in 2007 by True Voice’s senior faculty consultant, Jennifer Martin. True Voice provides expertise pertaining to investigation and the needs of children, giving Colorado children a voice in the judicial system.
Since 2000, Jennifer has provided forensic interview training to investigative professionals throughout Colorado. A forensic interviewer and expert witness regarding child sexual abuse, Jennifer Martin’s experience includes the following highlights:
- Forensically interviewed over 1000 children ages 2-18, as member of an accredited child advocacy center.
- Conducted over 1500 additional child interviews working with child protection and special education programs.
- Qualified as an expert in the area of forensic interviewing and/or child abuse in the 8th Judicial District, 13th Judicial District, 17th Judicial District, and 19th Judicial District.
- Developed training protocols for law enforcement investigators, social services and other professionals regarding such topics as: minimal facts interviewing protocol, forensic interviewing skill development, and child sexual abuse investigations.
- Trained over 1200 prosecutors, law enforcement personnel, and caseworkers.
- Provided case consultation, trial preparation, and support for county and district attorneys who question children on the stand.
- Provided clinical supervision to lead caseworkers and forensic interviewers throughout the state.
- Initiated and coordinated the first ever forensic interviewing program in Larimer County.
- Received over 500 hours of professional forensic interviewing training.
